Program Coordinator
This position is contractual and considered interim.
Pay Rate: Negotiable/Commensurate with experience
Hours: Weekly work 32-40 hours per week
Supervision: Reports directly to the RH Board President
Contract Program Coordinator
Overall strategic and operational responsibility for RH startup, expansion, programs and execution of its vision and mission.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in human services field or 5 years working experience
Knowledge and experience working with Substance Use Disorder, recovery concepts, trauma and mental health disorders
Knowledge of community resources
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, oral and written communication skills
Experience at successfully writing and managing grants
Experience and willingness to public speaking
Computer, Social Media and Marketing skills
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
Ability to multi-task and succeed with limited direct supervision
Self -starter that is motivated to help and take on necessary tasks to achieve needed
Duties
PARTICIPATION - Attend monthly board meetings, special board meetings, attend speaking engagements as needed. Participate in Fundraising initiatives.
REPORTING - Provide complete communication with RH Board. Submit monthly written reports to RH Board, provide oral reports as requested. Manage RH Budget. Financial Reporting Quarterly
RH SITE - Work with the Residence Make-Ready/Upfitting Committee - Help coordinate new residence launch and home improvements/construction via contractors. Meet as needed at RH with contractors/utilities for maintenance purposes.
COMPLIANCE - Work with Licensing and Compliance Committee – help with accreditation. Licensing and related efforts for RH residents, staff and the entity as a whole. Ensure insurance policies are up to date (report to Board)
GRANTS - Apply for and maintain grant funding in support of RH. Manage, assist with budgets and grant reports. Monitor grants and compliance as needed.
PROGRAM – Identify, train and supervise the House manager. Address and resolve grievances in the home. Provide crisis management services. Connect residents with other community resources. Maintain documentation in residents’ files. Oversees and evaluates program and quality of services provided to residents.
SOCIAL MEDIA –Assist with quarterly newsletter. Maintain Facebook account. Monitor email account and forwarding to Board members. Maintain email list. Conduct program marketing and publicity through social media.
CORRESPONDENCE – Write thank you notes and/or cards to donors as needed.
FINANCE – Coordinate bank deposits with Treasurer. Maintain good record keeping.
RECRUITING – Actively engage and energize RH volunteers and members of the broader recovery community. Work on capital campaign and finding donors.
